Union Bank, N.A is a full-service commercial bank operating in the US States of California, Oregon, Texas and Washington. It is a subsidiary of the UnionbanCal Corporation a financial holding company which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.  The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (MUFJ) is a a Japanese financial group.

Its history goes back to 1864 from the creation of the Bank of California. As from the 2011 website it has  404 full-service branches within CA, OR, TX And WA in conjunction with 600 Union Bank ATMs.  

It provides banking and financial services for its customers including retail customers, small businesses, commercial and middle market companies, institutions as well as corporations.  It also has a private bank for wealth management and investments.

For its customers it provide various products for storing and investing their savings. These include regular savings accounts, moneymarket accounts, linked tiered interest checking accounts as well as on fixed interest rate return for time deposit accounts. (CDs are FDIC insured up to permissible limits.)
