KeyBank or KeyBank National Association is a major U.S. bank institution with headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. It is chartered as a National Bank according to the FDIC and owned by KeyCorp, a holding company for KeyBank that is listed on the NYSE under the symbol 'KEY' and formed through a merger in 1994.  

Its historical legacy goes as far back as 1825 with as at 2012 operating 1063 bank branches and 1584 ATMs in 15 states. Branch numbers (from FDIC website) in 2012 within these states include Alaska (17), Colorado(69), Connecticut(1), Florida(3), Idaho(32), Indiana(73), Kentucky(4), Maine(61), Michigan(32), New York(231), Ohio(242), Oregon(78), Utah(41), Vermont(13) and Washington(166). 

KeyBank offers savings and investment products for its customers including personal checking accounts, money market savings accounts (higher interest tiered for higher balances), health savings accounts and kids savings accounts. In addition they offer certificate of deposit products including  short term CD accounts, tiered CD accounts tiered to interest as well as jumbo CD accounts.
