BBVA Compass (Compass Bank) is a US commercial bank that operates through the Sunbelt Region of United States.  It is a subsidiary of Compass Bancshares, Inc., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of BBVA (Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria , S.A.), a Spanish international financial services group.

As at 2011 according to the FDIC, it operated in 7 States with 720 domestic offices. In particular these include branches in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida and New Mexico with its biggest branch presence in Texas.

Its caters its banking products and services to individual consumers, small businesses and corporations and distributes its products through its branches, ATMs, website (English and Spanish) and mobile banking apps.

Its savings and deposit products for its customers include basic savings accounts, money market accounts, certificate of deposit (CD), an IRA CD, money market sweeps and checking accounts.
